The curriculum is based on standards developed by the U.S Department of Transportation (DOT) which supplies students with the skills necessary to handle both the driving and non-driving duties of being a professional truck driver.
Skyway has its own fleet of tractors and trailers used exclusively for training. Students experience hands-on training on city, county, and federal highway systems.
Skyway Trucking School currently holds terminal satisfactory status from CA Highway Patrol.

Upon the completion of the program, Skyway Trucking School will take its students to the Department of Motor Vehicle’s CDL regional testing site for the CDL drive test.

Skyway Trucking School has super-10 speed transmission conventional trucks with 28”, 48” & 53” foot trailers. Skyway also teaches double trailers skills.
