The curriculum is based on standards developed by the U.S Department of Transportation (DOT) which supplies students with the skills necessary to handle both the driving and non-driving duties of being a professional truck driver.
Skyway has its own fleet of tractors and trailers used exclusively for training. Students experience hands-on training on city, county, and federal highway systems.
Skyway Trucking School currently holds terminal satisfactory status from CA Highway Patrol.

Skyway Trucking School has super-10 speed transmission conventional trucks with 28”, 48” & 53” foot trailers. Skyway also teaches double trailers skills.
